The Presbyterian Education Board of Pakistan operates ten schools for girls in Pakistan. Many of these schools have been operating since the mid 1800’s. Dave Ege (a member of 2nd Presbyterian) is a member of the Board and recently spent some time in Pakistan breaking ground for the first boys school. This is a whole area of Presbyterian Mission work that we should know more about. Dave will tell about the project, and some of the limitations under which it works. For instance, the schools are by law not allowed to evangelize. So evangelization is by example, and that works surprisingly well. Come to KeenAgers and learn more about this interesting mission where more than half the students are Muslim.
