Knox Church

Knox Small Groups

The concept of Small Groups is not a new idea. Two thousand years ago, followers of Jesus Christ met in homes to learn from the apostles, to have fellowship with other believers, and to pray together. Spending time together allows us all to grow spiritually.

WHO can participate in a Small Group?

EVERYONE! All adults are invited to participate in Small Groups. Groups are formed by common lifestyle situations, or by mix of gender and ages. Find a group that meets your needs.

WHAT should you expect to happen during a Small Group Meeting?

Each Small Group consists of 8-12 people and those people determine the agenda for how their group time is spent. When groups meet, expect to have time to build relationships with those in your group and participate in Bible Study and prayer time.  Often those in a Small Group will share a meal together.  Many Small Groups do mission outings and service projects together.

WHEN and WHERE do Small Groups meet?

While some meet at Knox, most groups meet in the comfort of homes.  Each group sets its own schedule of when and how often they meet.  Some meet monthly others meet weekly.

WHY participate in a Small Group?

It is a great way to build friendships with a group of people and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
