Caring for Others

Children are encouraged to care for those in need. Each month during SONlight Express, elementary aged children participate in a card and note ministry to those who are ill or homebound to show that they "Care for Others". If you would like your name added to the list of people who receive cards from the children, please e-mail Lisa Campbell at lisa@knoxchurch.org

Monthly Collections

Children can bring items to SONlight Express any time throughout the month for the following service projects:

• January - Stocking stuffers and toys on sale for Crosslines
• February - Canned food for the Food Pantry
• March - - Dolls and trucks for Crosslines
• April - Sports balls and equipment for Crosslines
• May - Board games for Crosslines

During the summer the children will serve by helping put together school supplies at the  Operation Iraqi Children's wear house in Kansas City, as well as doing a service project at a local park.
