The Knox Child Development Center's Mission is to:
The Child Development Center program provides Christian as well as cultural values that are shared through stories, songs, prayers, art, music, games, special themes, and daily play times. Children work on letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and Kindergarten readiness skills. Children enjoy outdoor experiences on our fun climbing equipment.
Knox Child Development Center serves children infants six weeks old to age six. We also offer programs for children in first through sixth grade on days that school is not in session, as well as summer vacation.
Hours of operation are 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday twelve months of the year. A morning and afternoon snack are served from our kitchen as well as a hot lunch.
Our staff members are selected for their education and experience in the field of child development and related fields. Parents find them to be caring, nurturing individuals who enjoy working with children.
Children enjoy light, bright rooms with delightful artwork and are grouped by ages for appropriate lessons.
We are licensed by the State of Kansas Department of Health and Environment and have very reasonable fees.
