    Pinewood Derby and Chili Challenge

    January 24, 2015

Bring your best pinewoord derby car and even better to join us for the Chili Cookoff Challenge and Pinewood Races at 5:30 pm!

    The Story

This is a 31 lesson program that gives the greater picture and flow of the Bible.  Small group members will have the opportunity to purchase The Story book, but then the 31 video lessons will be available online through Right Now Media.  Each lesson will come with a reading, video, and set of questions.  You will not have to prepare anything.  See more here.

Current groups are getting ready for The Story, and new ones are forming.   We are currently looking for hosts for small groups.  If you are interested in hosting a “The Story” small group, please contact Pastor Curtis for more information.

Boundaries: When to Say YES, When to Say NO, To Take Control of Your Life

Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. A boundary is a personal property line that marks those things for which we are responsible. Often, Christians focus so much on being loving and unselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations. When confronted with their lack of boundaries, they ask: - Can I set limits and still be a loving person? - What are legitimate boundaries? - What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries? Spiritual boundaries help us to distinguish God's will from our own and give us renewed awe for our Creator. Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend offer biblically-based answers to these and other tough questions, showing us how to set healthy boundaries with our parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, and even ourselves.

The class will meet Tuesday evenings for 10 weeks beginning January 13. The first session is an introduction and you will find out what to expect and view the first video session. Come and check it out! For more information or if you’ll need childcare, please contact Kendi.
