Heartland Highland Dance School 

Primary (beginner) classes are generally geared toward beginner students who are between the ages of 3 and 5 . They will learn the basics of Scottish dance by doing fun and engaging movement. For primary classes, they cover positions, different ways to jump and move, how to listen to music, move to music, and some basic highland dance steps.

Study of the Quran: Exploring Islam and Christianity

Knox Church invites you to a 5-week Sunday School series beginning September 28 at 11am, following our worship service. It will be held in the Annex.

This class will be led by Richard Blaisdell, who lived and worked in Jakarta, Indonesia for three years, where 85% of over 10 million residents were Muslim. Drawing from his experiences, Richard will share insights about the Quran, Muslim culture, and daily life in a majority-Muslim community.

Together, we will explore similarities and differences between the Quran and the Christian Bible, deepening our understanding of both faith traditions and encouraging thoughtful conversation.

Join us as we learn, reflect, and grow in faith and understanding.

Get ready for a fun and festive start to the season with Advent Adventures! Join us on Sunday, December 1 at 11am for a joyful, multigenerational celebration filled with creativity, connection, and Christmas spirit.

Together, we’ll craft and decorate Chrismon ornaments and create a meaningful Advent calendar chain to mark the days leading up to Christmas.
