Ladies Lunch and a Show: Nunsense – Join the Knox Women for a fun afternoon out!

We’ll start the day with lunch at 12pm at Cinzzetti’s (7201 W 91st St, Overland Park). Enjoy their delicious brunch buffet and time to relax and connect together. Cost is $20.89 + tax/tip ($17.99 + tax/tip for seniors). Please pay at the restaurant.

Then at 2pm, we’ll head to The Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center (8788 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park) to see Nunsense, a lighthearted, laugh-out-loud musical comedy about five spirited nuns putting on a variety show to raise money for their convent.

Tickets are $17, collected at church by Debbie Schluben on Sunday, Feb. 15 or Becca Wagner on Sunday, Feb. 22. Please pay with cash or check (made out to Knox Church).

On Friday, April 3 at 7pm, we gather for a Good Friday service of reflection and prayer. As we remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, we enter a sacred space of sorrow, gratitude, and quiet hope. All are welcome to walk this meaningful path with us.

The Session is the governing body of our PC(USA) congregation, made up of elected elders and the pastor, who together provide spiritual leadership, make decisions for the life of the church, and guide its mission and ministry. The Session Meeting will be held at 6:30pm in Room 215BC and via Microsoft Teams.

The Present Word Class meets Sunday mornings at 8:30am via Zoom for a thoughtful, discussion-based Bible study. This quarterly curriculum explores Scripture in depth and invites adults into a deeper relationship with God and one another. Whether you’ve been studying the Bible for years or are just beginning, you are welcome.
