We give to the ministry of the church, first and foremost, in response to God’s love shown to us through His Son, the one who gave His life so that we might have life. Out of that response, ministry is funded and people are reached with the gospel, taught, loved, cared for and sent out to have an impact on the world around them for Jesus.
Electronic Giving Options
AUTOMATIC BANK TRANSFER (ACH)
This is the easiest and most effective way to automate your giving. 100 percent of your gift goes to the ministries of Knox Church because there are no processing fees. Upon your approval, we are prepared to automatically draft funds from the bank account of your choice. These transfers are processed every Monday and can be customized for as many Mondays as you wish (weekly, bi-monthly or monthly).
Completed forms should be mailed or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to the church office to Kathleen Navratil’s attention.
ONLINE GIVING
Contribute to God’s work by making financial donations online. We provide this option as a convenience to you. You can choose to contribute with a credit or debit card or your bank account information. You are in complete control and can make a one-time contribution or set up recurring payments. Currently at Knox, you can designate your donation to:

TEXT TO GIVE
Contribute by texting any amount to 913-285-8856 such as “20.” The first time you text a donation, you will be prompted with a one-time registration link that takes you to a web page to put in your name, address, email and card info (credit and debit cards are the only funding method, ACH from a bank account is not available with this method). This will create a record in Elexio Giving and save your payment method for future texts. All subsequent donations will simply be texting the amount to 913-285-8856. You will get a text confirmation that your donation was successful.
ONLINE BANKING
You can personally arrange for your financial institution to mail checks directly to Knox as a one-time gift or on a recurring schedule. In order to maintain consistency in the contributions process, please instruct your financial institution to mail all checks to:

CHECKS
Checks may be made payable to:

Either enclose the check in your personalized offering envelope, pew envelope or drop it loose in the offering plate.
CASH
Cash may be enclosed in your personalized offering envelope (preferred method) or you may use the pew envelopes. When using the pew envelopes, please be sure to legibly print your name and address so we can specifically identify you and provide you with contribution credit at the end of the year.
STOCKS
Shares of stocks may be donated to the church. Generally, the donor is eligible for a tax deduction for the fair market value of the stock on the date of donation, in addition to avoiding tax liability on any capital gains on the stock (consult your personal tax adviser for details).
REAL PROPERTY
Certain parcels of real estate, including houses, land and rental property may be donated to Knox (subject to certain guidelines and an evaluation by the Finance Committee).
